Students in Mrs. Curwick’s 4th grade class and Ms. McDermott’s 3rd grade class put on a beautiful prayer service, recognizing area Veterans on Veterans Day. They led the audience (which included nine area Veterans, including St. Francis Xavier middle school teacher, Dave Mack) in prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and patriotic songs.

Our 5K and 1st grade classes started their artist in residency with Terri Kerr last week, where they were playing theater games, learning about characters in a story and seeing what it feels like to walk in another person's shoes! Later this month our 4K, 5K and 1st graders will see Miss Nelson Has a Field Day at the Overture Center.
