Mr. Broyles (Broyles & Company CPA's) shared with us his business card, what is is to be a CPA and taught us about the importance of saving now to help set us up for our future. He brought with him an excitement for teaching and wonderful Sudoku books to keep our minds sharp this summer.
Mr. Tubbs (The State Bank of Cross Plains) taught us about the role of a banker, types of currency and the different transactions a banker can make. He shared with us many examples of other country's currency, as well as a printed $500 bill!
Mr. Connell (WI Deputy Attorney General) discussed what it means to be a lawyer and also what it is like to work for the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Mr. Flynn talked about his career as a biochemist. He shared with the class a slide show about his career path and how he currently supervises labs around the country that help to discover new medications.
Mr. and Mrs. Pietrzykowski talked about running their family sign business and how they help other businesses and organizations (including our school) with branding and directional signage.
