Summer break is here!

Our teachers, parents and students have certainly earned the break this year! Since our students weren't here to plant the school garden this spring, we decided to try our hand at growing pumpkins! Fingers crossed that they'd have a big crop to harvest when they return in the fall!

Happy Birthday Wisconsin!

Last week, our 4th graders celebrated Wisconsin’s 172 birthday! Students decorated their homes and the class jumped around, and found ways to represent state symbols! They also enjoyed cupcakes!

Haiku Poem Winner

Congratulations to 4th grader Addison Lorandos! Her Haiku poem "Peter Pan" was selected for publication by the Greater Dane County Advanced Learner Haiku contest. Her poem was one of 46 selected for publication out of over 1,000 entries.

Our School Adopted Penny!

Our students raised $1,500 with their Read Across America Read-a-thon. Our $1,500 donation will cover the cost of milk production for nearly six weeks! The milk produced by Penny will go to families in need through the Second Harvest Foodbank's "Adopt A Dairy Cow" program.
