Lenten Mural Competed!

During this Lenten season students took part in building a mural piece by piece. Over 1,400 squares made up the final image, each of which contained a prayer intention from a student or staff member on the back side. The mural was a ever changing visual reminder of our Lenten journey as we prayed, fasted and completed various service projects.

Living Stations of the Cross

Our 8th grade class, lead by Mrs. Jennifer Wankerl, put on a beautiful and moving representation of the Living Stations of the Cross on Tuesday. Each student played a role in acting out or narrating each of the 14 stations, with Haven Wankerl playing Jesus. Logan Grabins' performed the vocal solos.

Comfort Dogs Make a Surprise Visit to School

5th grader Kamryn Wells got quite the surprise Friday when Dora and Shiloh showed up at his classroom door! Kamryn has been raising money for the LCC K-9 Police Ministry and they surprised him with the opportunity to meet two of their dogs to recognize his efforts.

Tri-Star Optimist Basketball Challenge

St. Francis had five students take 1st place and six students take 2nd place in their age brackets during last night's basketball competition. Nearly 50 children from the area took part at the event, which was held at St. Francis Xavier.

Camp Gray Retreat

All of our students in 4K-8th grade participated in our Lenten Retreat on Wednesday, March 14, which was put on by Camp Gray.
It was a great way to expand our knowledge of prayer, fasting and almsgiving through games and other fun activities. The counselors also incorporated our theme of kindness and helped students think about how important it is to treat everyone with love and kindness.

Recess Before School

Recess before school returns April 3! Parent drop off procedures will remain the same. Buses will be instructed to drop off at Church to avoid any traffic near the playground, as they did at the beginning of the school year.

Canstruction Jr. Competition

Our first Canstruction Jr. Competition was a huge success! Students used 2,591 cans in the 15 structures, with our entire donation weighing in at over 2,500 lbs! All of the food donations benefited the Christian's in Action Food Pantry in Mazomanie!
