1st Graders Learn About Johnny Appleseed

Mrs. Julius' first graders are learning about John Chapman (better known as Johnny Appleseed) the American pioneer who introduced apple trees to large parts of Pennsylvania, Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. They celebrated Johnny Appleseed day by taste testing apples, dressing up and by making applesauce.

Children's Choir

All children grades 2nd – 8th are invited to join our parish's children's choir. The choir sings at the 10:30am Mass the second Sunday of each month and the 5:00pm Christmas Eve Mass. Rehearsals are held on the first Monday of the month from 6:30pm-7:30pm.

APT Actress Visits St. Francis Xavier

Our 7th and 8th graders are reading Shakespeare’s Macbeth and will see the play at APT on Friday. Yesterday, APT actress Laura Rook visited and lead activities with the students to help them better understand the play.

Speaking The Truth: Adult Formation Series

All adults are invited to participate in this Tuesday night series led by Natasha Virnig. This series will explore tough topics with the intent to help us better understand the Church's teachings and respond truthfully with love and respect.

Garden Club

Our garden club has been so much fun! So far students have participated in harvesting, cleaning and tasting veggies! This week they'll be learning about all the different plant parts that we can eat and then they wrap up their sessions in the kitchen cooking!
