Valentine's Day Food Drive

Our Parish's Valentine’s Day Food Drive was a huge success! We collected over 700 lbs of food for the
Christians in Action Food Pantry in Mazomanie. National Junior Honor Society Students worked to sort, load and deliver donations earlier this week. This is one of several projects our students help with throughout the year as they work to serve others within our community.

Congratulations to Michael Lamberty (8th) and Danica Nolte (6th) who were recognized at a luncheon on Friday, February 7 for their winning Daughter of the American Revolution Essay contest submissions on the Christopher Columbus and what it was like to travel on the Mayflower.

Box Top Classroom Contest Results!

The results are in! We collected over $473 worth of box tops! Contest winners were:
- 1st Place: 1st & 2nd grade tied with 55 per student
- 2nd Place: 5K with 44 per student
- 3rd Place: 3rd with 35 per student

Badger Day Visitor

Students got to meet a real UW Badger on “Badger Day” this week! UW Women’s Soccer Team Captain and former St. Francis Xavier Student, Grace Douglas stopped by. Grace helped out with the service project and talked to students about what it takes to be a Badger (both on and off the field) and how important it is for Badgers to show respect. She also answered lots of questions about her favorite memories as a St. Francis Xavier student. Grace is a standout both on the field and in the classroom as she is a double major in two challenging STEM fields at the UW School of Engineering.

Birthday Boxes

Students and staff put together around 80 birthday boxes containing cake mix, frosting, candles and birthday decor for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry as their Catholic Schools Week Service Project.
