Read Across America Week

From silly socks to tasty treats, being kind to reading everything we can find . . .our students have had a blast celebrating Dr. Seuss and their love of reading! Tomorrow we'll kick off our day with a Drop Everything and READ assembly, then we'll pick out new books and honor Dr. Seuss with a birthday treat for all!

Our 4th/5th grade girls basketball finished their regular season with an 8 and 3 record, tying for third place overall. They will compete in the season ending league tournament this weekend!

Celebrating the 100th Day of School!

Our 5K and 1st grade classes celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100-year-olds, enjoying 100 piece snacks, making crowns with 100 things on them, writing about what they'd do with 100 things, counting to 100 and more!

7th and 8th grade students demonstrated their knowledge of Spanish fashion vocabulary and ability to write creative content in their second language, during classroom fashion shows earlier this week!

Henry Vilas "Zoo to You"

Our 4K-3rd graders loved learning about the African Bull Frong, the Blue-tounged Skink, Turtles, Pythons and the Red-footed tortoise through the traveling education program at the Henry Vilas Zoo!

Spelling Bee Champ!

Our Spelling Bee was very competitive and our student performance was impressive! Our top three finishers were all from the 5th grade. Congrats to Eric Thuesen for taking first place! Eric will go on to compete at the regional level later this month.
